Tybee Island offers an wide assortment of vacation rentals and price ranges. You can select from hotels, condos, cottages, homes, cabins, or camping areas.
I have found over the years that each area of the island is so different. So which ever area you select to visit, you will have a different experience. The north end of the island provides the light house and Ft. Screven museums along with great views of ships traveling in and out of the Savannah River.
The southern end is closer to the pier, shops, restaurants, "the downtown" area. The beaches on the southern end of low tide offer us sand dollars and starfish.
The mid-island areas offers a wonder view at the curve of the island where the anchor is located. Restaurants and a couple stores are in walking distance.
