LET'S SHOP

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

A store that is  "MUST TO"  is  "Chu's"!  Actually named T. S. Chu's & Company. A department store at 6 Tybrisa Street near the Pier and Pavilion.  Reminds me of the old time "Dime Stores".  Very unique!!  Items are not too pricey!  You will be able to find souvineers for everyone from bargin prices to high end prices to suit everyone's gift needs.

Forgot your swimsuit? Do not worry.  Local stores carry a very nice assortment of swimwear, surf boards, and other items for your beach enjoyment.

The one grocery store on the island is the Tybee Market IGA located at Bulter and 12th Street. Prices are good.  So if you decide you want to grill out, head to IGA for a couple steaks and fixings!

Bargin Hunters!!  There is an outlet store where every item is priced at $5.00 each.  The store is located on the left of Highway 80 as you come onto the island.

There are also several other small unique stores in the area for your shopping experience.  Many local artists live on the island and market their artwork in some of the local stores.

There is a unique small store on Butler that sells art work by the local artists!  Be sure to visit this island treasure chest!
